High-voltage frequency converter has high reliability requirements in industrial production fields such as electric power, chemical industry, coal mine and metallurgy. There are many indicators that affect the reliability of high-voltage converter, among which heat dissipation and ventilation is a crucial part in the design process. At present, there are many methods for high-voltage converter, such as high-low-high, direct series connection of components, mid-point multi-level, cell cascade, etc. Generally speaking, the efficiency of the above high-voltage converter can reach 96~98%; However, due to the high power of the equipment, it still needs to generate a lot of heat during normal operation. In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment, a large amount of heat is lifted and removed.
High-voltage converter equipment has large power, and 4% of power loss is mainly in the form of heat loss in the operating environment. If the temperature problem of the working environment in the converter room is not solved in a timely and effective manner, it will directly endanger the operation safety of the converter body; Finally, due to the high temperature, the converter overheated to protect the operation trip. In order to ensure a good operating environment of the frequency converter, measures must be taken to control the temperature of the frequency converter and the operating environment.
Second, cooling mode
Through the accumulation of inverter engineering application experience, we can provide complete inverter cooling system solutions for different application environments. Several common cooling methods mainly include: ⑴ open cooling of air duct; ⑵ Air-conditioner seal cooling; ⑶ Air-water cooling closed cooling; ⑷ Water cooling of equipment body; ⑸ The above methods are combined with cooling.
Air duct open cooling
1.1 Cooling process
The cold air enters the frequency converter through the ventilation inlet screen of the frequency converter room, cools the body, and then discharges the hot air through the air outlet of the frequency converter air duct.
1.2 Installation method
The installation of open cooling of air duct is relatively simple. It is only necessary to open two ventilation inlets on the wall of the frequency converter room, install the filter screen, and then lead out the air outlet duct from the top hood of the frequency converter.
